Raised UV & Spot UV
A cured gloss coating applied to chosen areas of a printed piece rather than the whole sheet.
About raised uv & spot uv
Spot UV lays a clear, UV-cured coating over selected elements of a design. The coated areas hold a gloss the surrounding stock does not, so a logo or a headline separates itself by how it catches the light rather than by colour.
Raised UV builds that coating up into a layer with height. The element then reads by touch as well as by sight. Both are finishing steps applied after the piece has been printed, so they are planned alongside the artwork rather than added to it afterwards.
