Screen Printing
Ink pushed through a stencilled mesh screen, one colour at a time, for solid and hard-wearing coverage.
About screen printing
Screen printing forces ink through a mesh screen carrying a stencil of the design, with a separate screen prepared for each colour. Preparing those screens takes time up front, and that effort is repaid across a long run of the same artwork.
The ink is laid down thickly compared with most other methods, which is where the density and durability of a screen-printed mark come from — one of the reasons the method has stayed in use for apparel and merchandise.
Where it is typically used
- T-shirts and team apparel
- Tote bags and fabric merchandise
- Printed signage and boards
- Promotional giveaways
- Long runs of a fixed design
These are common uses of the method rather than a fixed list. Materials, sizes and finishing options vary from job to job — tell us what you have in mind and we will confirm what suits it.
